I LOVE this game! The first one too of course. Is it flawless? No, by no means! But it's still one of my favorites! I might even like it more than the first one - aside from the story (I think that was better in the first game) - but as a whole I think I might like AiNi a bit more. And I'm looking forward to the 3rd game!

And also yes, please, to the 13 Sentinels video I always thought the blurry, no audio segments were done for anyone who didn't pick up on the pancakes line or may have forgotten about it. I was stoked when I realized on my first playthrough but I can see people missing it entirely. What bothers me more is that Sae (not say btw), who was in the metaverse, can't understand Morgana even though that's the explanation given for understanding him. It's probably more accurate to say someone with the potential/a Persona can understand him, rather than just having to be in the metaverse.

What I find kinda jarring for Persona 4 after playing Persona 3 (especially Reload) is there a weird number of situations where you are given options that forces into situations where it feels like you should be able to avoid or opt out of. I think the " mandatory camping field trip" (a.k.a. forcing high school students to do work or being threatened to be expelled that is considered volunteer or prison work at least in the United States) is an infamous example. I really don't like it. It could be cut out entirely and nothing would change. If they do remake Persona 4, that whole thing should be completely reworked or excluded. It ends with me thinking Yosuke is a pervert; Yukari is kinda a yes-woman to Chie; and Chie is a hypocrite. I was really liking the characters and then my enjoyment of the characters significantly decreased. Although, at least, it made Konji even more loveable being the well-meaning yet quick to act without thinking tough guy. What makes this worse is that it feels like the game unintentionally paints Yu as inappropriate and insensitive. You are forced to play along with Yosuke and the event has zero deviation other than flavor text that doesn't seem to influence anything. Also, there is many narrative text that is very redundant Am I in the minority who thinks this way?
